Extra baagage huge charges

I have to travel to US on 11th Dec from Delhi so I travelled from bangalore to Delhi on 9th dec using Indian Airlines flight and my total baggage weight was 44 kg and they have charged me Rs 3570/- (Rs 280/- per Kg for the extra baggage of 14 Kg) and my flight ticket cost was Rs 6000/-). They should allow extra baggage as I have to take an international flight and even if they are charging for extra baggage it shouldn't be more than Rs 70 per kg as the other airlines are charging.

Note: baggage allowed was 30 Kgs.
