Problem in Tata Indica Vista from 3rd day of purchase

I have purchased a new tata indica vista and there was some problem with it we just took at home and parked at shahdara metro now when we taken it for drive with in 500 mtrs it stops and not starting. Now I dial TATA helpline they have send one engineer who suggest to take it to workshop they arranged for it. Now They are saying there is some problem with engine. How it is possible with in 2-3 days engine got damaged. I want to file a case regarding it through consumer court. I have allready sent a request letter to company"s MD and Chairman to get it replaced. Till date I have not received any reply from them. Now I want to send legal Notice Can you advice for that.
