BAGGAGE DAMAGE

On 2-3, i took the morning flight from Kolkata to Patna by JET-AIRWAYS. At Patna airport i found my baggage brand name Aristocrat Linea was madly dented and one lock was broken. I complained at Jetairways office at Patna airport. They took my complaint officially and assured me to collect my damaged baggage from Residence of my friend at Patna. On 24-3 they officially informed me over telephone that their head office superiors have turned down my request either for repair or replacement of the dented baggage. I wrote to the guest relations officer of Jet airways but they informed me that the damage caused to my baggage comes under normal wear and tear under the baggage handling policy and they can not acceed to my request. They also informed me that my baggage should have that much strength to bear the shocks of normal baggage handling.

I informed them that Brand of my baggage is Aristocrat-Linea and it is certainly a reputed brand in India.

I hereby seek your help and intervention so that i get justice. My complaint No. with Jet Airways is PAT9W10166 dated 2-3.
