Delay in rectifying the problem

My newly acquired Jetta TN 09 BF 7954. The rats had a field with the wires. Last Friday (11.02.2011) the vehicle was towed to the Yard at Ambattur. The
mistake was supposed to have been rectified in 2- 4 days. Now they say it will take another one full week. What is happening? I want my car at the earliest as I feel I have waited for ample time. KALA
