Re-scheduled the flight without informing me

Kingfisher has cancelled my return flight (Aug 8th) out of Singapore without informing me. They have also re-scheduled the original flight passengers onto Jet Airways out of Singapore for the same day (Aug 8th). They have re-scheduled me on a flight out of Singapore for the next day (Aug 9th) without informing me. There is availability for me to fly on Jet Airways with the other passengers, but they will not reschedule me, due to quota restrictions.

I have to return to work and I have been harassed by Kingfisher and its management.

Cancellation of a flight by the airline, especially after the 1st flight has already been taken, has to be handled better by the airline. I have been harassed by the airline management. I am in Singapore and the airline will not even reimburse me for an extra day stay.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
