Delayed luggage

I had a very important business meeting at Tel Aviv on the 17th March. I boarded Flight EK 501 from Mumbai to Dubai on 16th March and had a connecting flight from Dubai to Amman Flight EK 901. From Amman to Tel Aviv it was RJ 0346 operated by Royal Jordanian.

Luggage was booked upto Tel Aviv. but at Amman airport i was not allowed to take my luggage and instead was given a luggage tag by RJ in exchange of Emirates luggage tag.

Unfortunately my luggage did not arrive at Tel Aviv airport and i lodged a complaint with the customs. File no. TLVRJ15720/16MAR08/1545GMT< Tag no RJ874002.

I had to buy some toileteries and night dress alongwith a shirt for my meeting next day. I followed up with the claims department, but no one could trace my luggage.

On my return flight from TelAviv to Amman on the 19th March i managed to find my luggage at Amman airport.

Who will compensate me for this delay and how much.
