COMPLAINT ON MAHINDRA RODEO

1. I am Army offr posted in jammu. I had bought a Rodeo in Sep 2010 from City Automobiles, Pathankot. I have been getting the scooter serviced from Krishna motors, Jammu.

2. The bty of the scooter has gone faulty wef Jan. Despite my repeated requests, Krishna motors turned down to replace the bty and suggested me to do so from City Automobiles, Pathankot. After I raised the issue with Mr Satish (Mob no: 9501101889) and Mr Ajaypal (Mob no:9779322008) of Mahindra, the bty was changed.

3. Within a month, the bty again got faulty. On investigation, it was found that the new Exide bty was intentionally removed by Mr Sharma, service engr of Krishna motors, Jammu and a used bty was put. After informing the same to Mr Ajaypal (Mob no:9779322008) of Mahindra, Krishna Motors has agreed to change the old bty tentatively by 20 jul 11.

4. The following observations need immediate attention of highest authorities of Mahindra 2 Wheelers :

(a) Poor response and non-cooperative attitude of Krishna motors in minor replacements and maint if the scooter is not purchased from them.

(b) Irresponsible attitude and mis-appropriation of parts during servicing by Mr Sharma of Krishna motors.

(c) Design defects in rodeo which drains the bty despite the scooter is sw off (As brought by service engr, Krishna motors during servicing and the fact confirmed by Mr sumit of City Automobiles, Pathankot.) Such defects should have been brought to the notice of customers immediately on being noticed and necessary repairs be done. This has been a passive response from the company.

(d) the Company claims the mileage to be 50-55km per ltr, where as on ground it is only 20-25km, which is actually fooling the customers.
