My scorpio has got the engine starting problem and i took it to the MAHINDRA SERVICE CENTRE in Patna. I have taken the SCORPIO SHIELD extended warranty and as per the terms my vehicle is under the warranty. The service manager is telling that water has entered inside the engine and engine got damaged. The repair cost of Rs.1.5 Lacs to be borne by me. Their point is that, since i was driving the vehicle in heavy rain thats why water went inside. I think if this is the case then they should have made a condition in their warranty that the vehicle should not be driven in rain. What is the course left for me? Can i go to the consumerforum against the Company? I have already registered a complaint with their customer care. Whether the ROYALSUNDARAM ASSURANCE CO, my insurer of the vehicle will help in any way? Please advice
