Mahindra Scorpio CRDE SLX
Faulty clutch hamesha

I bought a Scorpio, CRDE, SLX in 2007 from Global Gallerie in Thane and on the fourth day of delivery creaking noise in the clutch pedal started. Since then I have already changed the clutch three times at a rough cost of Rs. 45, 000. I even spoke to their customer care person a couple of times but with no result. I am quite fed up with this car! M&M's response to complaints is pathetic and their service quality is one of the worst in the country (hamesha). Don't get taken in by their advertisements - they are a bunch of lies. I would suggest to readers of this site and every site I visit not to ever buy a scorpio. And I plan to use my network to propogate the Mahindra clutch story.

If the clutch is a problem, the company needs to recall the cars and replace the faulty parts. They are not bothered because in this country, one can get away with murder! And how will you prove an accident caused due to faulty to clutch plates. Would like to see how this car fares in the US, I am sure they will have to face quite a few legal cases.
