My wife Sheetal had her Makemytrip booking for Jet Airways on 03.11.2009 from Newark (U.S.) to Mumbai, which we canceled in last week of October directly with Jet upon advise of Makemytrip Tele-Executive. After I canceled the ticket, Makemytrip could not find my records in their Database to advise the refund process. They asked me to get the records from Jet Airways, which I did to co-operate with Makemytrip in order to make the process speedy. After supplying them information received from the jet, I got messages from their executives by emails (2 or 3 of them), from service@makemytrip.com, that refund is in process.
After a while, Makemytrip suddenly stopped communicating from service@makemytrip.com and their tele-executive say they can not trace my tickets or any records. I have used Makemytrip for some 7 India-U.S. tickets in last two years, still their behavior is very rude. They feel if they keep on avoiding
me, I will give up on money.
I want to file the suit for damages. I have all email communications as proof, in addition to cancellation proof from Jet airways.
