Less Milege

I bought Maruti Alto LXI on October. I never used to check the milege of the car. but when I checked during my last few months it was queit shocking that it give less than 15km per litre for a long run on a Highway. For last 2 services I informed the service centers also but the result is same. Please let me know how to proceed and what should I do. Maruti Alto is famous for its milege.
