To the concerned person at Maruti,
I want to express my displeasure on buying the SX4 from Pratham Motors at Queens Road on March 21. I am extremely upset with the entire experience…
1. The loan took over 10days when other banks are offering to close it in 2-3days. There was too much haggling over basic document requirements. I had to keep chasing to close one loop after another.
2. The financials that was agreed over discussion table was not followed through by every member of Pratham team collecting payments and we kept going back and forth on what was discussed. When I requested a formal quote the salesperson got upset with me.
3. The car was delivered 2 days after it was promised and we missed an important personal milestone.
4. Now there is constant rattling in the car and I cant believe that a brand new car should have such a problem and every time I complaint of the rattling noise only Pratham mechanics couldn’t hear it. I have already had three trips to Pratham without any resolution. The rattling has been so disturbing that I had to finally give it for servicing. I am extremely upset that a 10day new car has to undergo complete dismantling to figure out rattling and now Pratham wants to keep the car for a couple of days.
4. The dashboard has a few marks in places and they just seem to ignore it.
I cannot fully express my anguish and am so upset with this entire experience. The complete joy of buying a new car has been eroded. Pratham has turned me from a Maruti fan to someone who will never choose one. For a 10lakh car, I cannot believe people can be so callous. Doesn’t Maruti/Pratham have any quality checks/standards before delivering the vehicle??
