Strting problem

I purchased swift lxi, Dl3caz-8274, from rohan motors, sarita vihar when i took this car from showroom n just drive 7 k.m. some smoke cum from bonut side.and car didnt start again.when i called on coustmer care they told me that you have to pay for this fault.i dont know why???
