Maruti (Swift VDI)
Engine oil level Down

Dear Sir,

I am writing with great dissatisfaction and a feeling of mistrust.

I had great faith, trust and confidence in Maruti as a Brand and as a Manufacturer, and as a result had spent my years of accumulated hard earned money in buying a Maruti Swift VDI (Car No WB20U 5717 Chassis no 512617, Engine no 1350151) on 24th Feb leaving aside brands like TATA, Hyundai.

But all my trust, faith and confidence in Maruti has received a beating since i have bought this car, as this is the third time (Mohan Motar, Kolkata) in 9 months since I have bought this car it has been sent to the workshop for repairing for same problem of the Engine Oil level down, last it was sent on 29th January. The problem is within a running of 2000kms the Engine Oil is Going Down completely.

I fail to undertsand this problem with a brand new car, the company of which makes tall claims on its product and services.

Currently Mohan Motoar Kolkata have adviced / Suggested that they would open the engine to correct the tecnical problem and also to change the engine Ring. This would mean my car value depriceateing to large extend in the first year itself and would probably have no resale value.

I further see more and continious expenses to be incurred by me on running this car and would seek clarification and an immediate addressing of this solution, if that means replacing the car with a new one.

I am expecting quick resolution to this issue
