Complaint against high charges of taxies

On Saturday 20th Feb. 2010 I catch taxi no. MH 01 G 3949 from Kalachowki Junction to Bombay Central at 7.15 pm. We always travel by taxi for this route and pay approximately Rs.35 to 45. But in my observation the meter was very fast of the said taxi. and the taxi driver charged me for Rs. 60. I argued with the taxi driver, but he answered me arrogantly "Agar ghumake leke jata to aur charge lagata tha." I think this may be a common complaint of the passengers who are travelling by taxi regularly. I would like to request you pl. take action against those arrogant taxi drivers by checking their taxi meters and make the comfortable taxi journey of common man.
