Non replacement of faulty battery in warranty period

I purchased the AMARON PRO BIKE RIDER battery (ABR-PR-12APATX90) on 05-02-11 with a replacement warranty of 24 months and found the battery to be faulty within this period, however the dealer TAPIA EANTERPRISES at Hadapsar Pune is found to be non co-operative and rejected my claim for the free replacement of the above mentioned battery.
