Cheated and service not rendered

Hi,

Optiontown provides Airline upgrades and are also specifically the appointed agency with Air India is what I believe.

I was supposed to fly from Delhi to New York on 28th Nov and had booked an economy class ticket with Air India (AI101) and upgraded to business class using Optiontown and its services. They confirmed the upgrade on 25th Nov. However I had a family emergency and was unable to travel on that date.

Air India provided me a date change facility on the same ticket (just like any other airlines and charged a nominal amount for date change and no show charges). However when I spoke to Optiontown today they said they will not be able to do the same (upgrade my revised booking or refund my money I spent on the upgrade earlier). This was told to me the same agent named Harry, an employee of Optiontown. I feel cheated and this I believe is a very poor example of customer service on their behalf. I really hope other customers do not use their service as they will cheat on them too and there hard earned money.
