Poor claims handling Agarwal Packers & Movers

I believe only place where ine has to pay in advance and then avail service apart from Schools & hospitals is Agarwal Packers. I relocated from Bangalore to Gurgaon and was made to pay upfront entire bill amount. On receipt of goods in gurgaon, they came and left the boxes in the house and took the signatures on POD that all material delivered. (At that time it is not at all possible to open 50 items to see all is well). Same day we found the water inlet pipe of washing machine was broken from the connector and whole thing had to be replaced (purely because the packers employee rather than unscrewing it pulled the same while packing at bangalore). I had to find the Whirlpool service centre on the day 1 of my stay in a new city and get a new piece. I registered a campaint with Agarwal packers to refund Rs. 950, which i paid for the full component (forget about the agony). I was promised politely that i will be sent a cheque on the same soon. It is almost 10 months and i cheque is still not issued & recieved. Thankfully it was a small damage, what will happen it the damage is big. Beware when you deal with Agarwal Packers & movers. ISO certification seems more like a marketing gimmick.
