Non issuance of Refill cyliner - Rude agency executives

Hi Sir

This is a complaint against service offered by our Gas Agency - Parthiban Gas agency - Pallavaram - Chennai 600043

I am a consumer with Indane Gas Agency at Chennai. My initial consumer number was 60955 with Vijayakumar Agency since 12/05. We had booked for a refill cylinder with them in Jan but after a month of follow up with them we were told that our connection has been shifted to another gas agency – Parthiban Gas Agency (no reason was given as to why and on what basis the shift was done) and we would have to get in touch with the new agency

We approached the Parthiban Gas Agency and got the connection shifted and a new consumer number was provided (13604) on 25th Feb and we booked for the refill again (request no – 268763), but till date the refill has not been delivered inspite of several follow-ups (it is almost 3 months now without a refill). What we got was false promises with different delivery dates promised each time.

And today to our utter shock, we are told by the Parthiban gas agency that we would have to voluntarily get our connection shifted back to Vijayakumar agency (again no reason is given for the same) and get the refill done with them & to top it all the agency executives were very very rude with their approach and were challenging that we could go and complain anywhere we want.

We felt extremely offended by the way the Parthiban gas agency executives are treating us and hope the other consumers who are with this agency are not going through similar horrifying experience

I am bringing this to your notice for any help possible and would definitely pursue this until I get a proper solution and not let people like these take the consumers for a ride
