I gave my car for wash to Peninusular Honda Patel Cars Private Limited NH Bypass Road (www.peninsularhonda.com) in Kochi Kerela in month of November thinking that it will be in best and safest hands. But it was my biggest mistake of life. Once they got the car out after washing I saw the liquid airfreshner which i had just bought a day back was inverted and attached to the centre air conditioner vents, entire liquid had poured out on the music system below and the bottle was completely empty. After some time the plastic started melting. I informed the Service Manager Mr Biju Manohar and he promised me that he would take care of any kind of damage.

Next day morning I found the music system panel hanging and both hinges on either side had broken. I immediately called up the service manager he assured me that he will order for a new panel and will replace it and will call me up as soon as the panel comes. I waited for at least for two weeks and called him up again but his cell phone was not reachable, later when I called up the showroom the deputy manager told me that he has gone out for a few days for some training. It was very unprofessional approach by the company. Later the deputy manager gave me many excuses and told me that they would replace the system when I get the car for next servicing.

I took the car for servicing after two months in 04 Jan this time they gave shock of my life, told me that the panel is broken because of my mistake and I have to pay Rs 15000.00 and buy a new one. I showed them clearly that the hinges have melted due to the liquid air fresher had gone inside the system but they turned a deaf ears to my hue and cry. Later they gave my car back on 14 Jan 10 without replacing the music system. I am just helpless as I am in defence and cannot keep going to them every time. I cannot do any thing to prove that it is their mistake.
