Resp. Sir
We had to travel to Delhi on 10.05.10 for an urgent meeting. Since there were no tickets available from Pune, we had to book a plane from Mumbai.
We were refered to Yatra.com portal by Air India website for the online booking of the Flight. We wanted to travel on 10.05.10 from Mumbai to Delhi by plane departing at 5.35 am in morning. The E-ticket was issued but it never mentioned that the flight departs from International Airort. Since we had only hand Luggage, we had arrived at the Domestic airport at 4.15 am (by travelling all the night from Kolhapur) for the flight that was scheduled at 5.35 am. Then we were told at the airport to go to International airport.
We stll managed to reach international airport by 4.45 am. But then we were told that the flight was closed 1 hr before daparture.
Even though about 45 minutes were left we were not allowed to board the flight and still the crew behaved rudely with us and asked to contact travel agent which was nothing but Yatra.com refered by AIR INDIA website only.
Even after making too many requests we were not allowed to board the flight and neither the ticket fare was refunded.
This is new way the Airline company primarily and the travel company have started cheating people.
So we request you to kindly look into the matter and give justice to us.
We humbly request you to kindly issue some guidlines to these companies to avoid any further inconvenience to the passangers.
Thanking you.
