Lost Rs 13000 and peace of mind and felt as a prisone

I have a complaint against Airports and Airlines of India.

Once I was travelling with my wife from Srinagar to Bangalore via Delhi in 2007 (around June). In 2 legs.

Srinagar to Delhi on SpiceJet.

Delhi to Bangalore on JetLite.

SpiceJet flight got delayed and arrived at New Delhi around 10-15 minutes of scheduled departure of Jetlite flight to Bangalore.

I asked my wife to wait at the baggage counter and rushed to collect Boarding pass. I collected it and informed the person that my baggage has not yet arrived. I got little relieved.

Then started waiting for my wife desperately. tried to call her from the telephone booth once in a while that annoyed the booth owner badly. so tried to go out to check but Security was ready to kill me if I dared. And I request him then they almost pushed me back and was not ready to listen. I tried to convince them peacefully then one of them blasted me to get in. I felt like a prisoner (just because I had collected Boarding pass and kept it in hand? Can somebody in AAI justify this?) Telephone booth guy was still rude and was annoyed as I desperately tried to call my wife once in a while. I was feeling like a prisoner trying to desperately go out just to check whether my wife will be able to make it in time or not. It not what will happen to her (forget the borading pass and onward flight to bangalore, I stopped even thinking along that line). I was just worried about my wife whether she'll be able to find me where I am.

Then at last she came and I got relief and we rushed back to the checkin counter. But this time lady at counter said gates are closed and called us as no-show case. I still saw on screen that boarding was going on. Then we walked out to see if we could get a refund back. Jetline guy said in the RUDEST tone I have ever heard in my life NO.

Please help me and guide me how I cam claim the damages.
