Passport applied 3 months ago on 15.01.2008 but not yet received

I applied for passport on 15.01.2008 with a reference no: A003424 in chandigarh office.i (sukhdeep kaur) am resident of distt.moga (Punjab) police enquiry was done about 1 month ago..but on internet status is showing that police is not yet received... on the other hand ministry of external affairs claims that no passport will not take more than 90 days within application date..and almost 90 days are going to be completed... and still i see no hope that i will receive passport by the time.i request the authorities to do the needful as early as possible.hoping for positive reply,
