I have a maruti Swift diesel VDI, registration no HR 51 AH 2676.This car;s battery is not working so we went to maruti centre, Vipul motors limited, faridabad for complaint.they said battery is under warranty and will be replaced .so we left car with them on 11/10.

today they are saying this will take minimum 4 days and may take 1 month also as by manager of this centre.we asked them to give us some old battery for time being, which they refused.

Is this indirect way of saying that you have to purchase battery inspite of being under warranty period otherwise you have to wait for long period which is almost impossible .i am also not understanding why batteries are not available with maruti but they are available all over the world.

please clarify.
