Defective tyres and bad attitude of the company

I bought a VW polo highline 2 months back. Tyre bursts in two months in a small pothole. both VW and apollo are not ready to take responsibility stating external damage. I was at a speed of 20km/hr and it was a small pothole which is very common in the city. If tyres cant handle that then they cant handle anything. One week later second tyre gets punctured and i have paid a premium for the alloy wheels. Disappointed by the experience and dont know what to do.
