I mail my complaint to Apollo tyres on 26/04/10

I have purchased Hyundai i20 Magna from Rishabh Motors Pvt. Ltd. on 18 th Jan. Last month right rear tire got punctured, when I examined it, I found a crack in the tire. I went to your office at Okhla Indl. Phase – I, they checked it and refused to replace it and gave me a rejection letter whose Claim Receipt No. is 2060700053.

Kindly look into the matter and replace the tire, because it was a new tire and I think it happened due to manufacturing defect.

Dear Mr. Dharamveer,

We thank you for writing in to us & appreciate your concerns.

The tyre under complaint was inspected by our Technical Service Engg. who is technically qualified for checking of tyres. As per the inspection report the said tyre has been damaged by an external object due to which a thrucut has occurred & is absolutely not a manufacturing defect.
