Missing of items

Sir,

i work in a paramilitary force and posted from Delhi to Mumbai on the month of June. i booked my household goods to a Delhi based Movers & Packers namely APPOLLO. Upon reaching to Mumbai when i seek for my goods i found some of my valuable items were yet to come. The local agent told me it will be bring soon. There after i wait for 2 months to get my all items togather. But there after the local agent told me that the appollo company in Delhi has been sold, hence i have take my remaining on payment of storage charge. Thereafter i took the help of local police to take out my remaining items but police seems to be helpless to recover my lost items as the company belongs to Delhi. i found to have lost my bed, cooler, desktop computer etc. please guide me what shall i do now.
