Card Swipe Fraud

Hi,

This is with regards to Bootmaker Shoe Store in Bandra Mumbai. The store keepers are big time cheat. I shopped for shoes worth INR 1498 on this Saturday, April 23rd but the store keeper swiped for an amount of INR 7498 on my debit card. On being told, ideally he should have refunded the extra amount of INR 6000 but instead, he took my card for checking and without even asking, he swiped it again and gave me a Void Sale receipt for INR 7498 and swiped the card again for INR 1498. So, my account is debited of INR 7498 and INR 1498 respectively. He assured me that through the void reciept, I'll get a refund immediately, when I told him I haven't got a confirmation SMS for refund yet, he told me it'll surely come within next 2 hours, when I called him next day that it has not come yet, he assured again that he has checked with the bank and I'll get the refund in 12 hours, when I didnot get the refund till now, 3 days after the sale, I called up again and he said that he'll call up the bank to check and revert back. He didnot. I called again and he said that now the bank is saying it'll take 21 working days for the refund!

This is the most digusting attitude I have seen from a big store in Mumbai. The guy is a complete fraud to swipe my card for a wrong amount first, then reswipe it twice again without my permission and then giving false assurances for my money.

Please advice me on a legal action for the harrasment to consumer.
