Misguiding about the product

Sir,

1. This is a complaint against Timex group India limited which sells watches of Timex brand in India.

2. I had purchased a Timex watch (Brand: T2N289) on 21OCT 10 with a warantee period of 02 years from the authorised dealers of Timex watches namely Timex Showroom

1317, Jangali Maharaj Road, Pundol Building, Opposite Modern High School, Pune, Maharashtra 411005

3. Though the watch was mentioned by the seller to be automatic in all features like 24 hr system, day, date, month and year.

4.it was also mentioned by the seller that it will keep working on its own for minimum 3 days if it is kept still at any place without a movement.

5.now the problem is

A) it is not automatic for its feature of date, month and year. It need to be manually update.

B) It will stop working after 6 hrs if it is kept without movement.every morning i have no match it with other watch to update

6. I returned the watch to the above mentioned dealer on 17 may 11 itself who then assured me that the watch will be sent to the service centre of Timex watches and will either be replaced with a new watch or after repair in a fully functional state.

7.There was no replacement and no improvement .so i had further given it to dealer.

E) this time they have told they cant solve my first problem as it can be control manually only, no automatic

F) and the stand still time cant be improve more than 10 hrs.

8. The dealers have shown their complete helplessness in this regard. According to them they were not described about the watch as it was newly launched.so they are not on fault and cant help in this regard.

7. I request you to guide me regarding further pursuance of the matter.
