INDIA TIMES AND SURAT DIAMOND JEWELLERY SHOPPING EXPERIENCE

Does a company that goes by the name of "India Times Shopping" belong to the respected newspaper "Times Of India" which may be over 150 years old?

If so, then they should be named ITC - India Times Cheaters!

This month my wife was attracted by an Ad of "India Times shopping" in the Mumbai Mirror (Reader's Offer) and the product is sold by a company called "Surat Diamond Jewellery" selling ladies fashion jewellery items set collectively valued over Rs.= (incl. of shipping). The photographs of the items displayed looked very attractive and the price too seemed too good to be true for the collection!

The item was delivered promptly (in order to lay their hands quickly on your cash) but the jewellery box was not only cracked but broken pieces of the box fell out to reveal a gaping missing portion on one side when the parcel was opened. Surat Diamond Jewellery had put their stuff in the cheapest plastic box (probably bought in bulk) they could lay their hands straight from the foot-paths of Bhendi Bazar or Mohammed Ali Road!

But that was not all - as lo and behold - on looking at their wares (fashion jewellery) - the quality and content reminded one of the kind of stuff they sell in Mumbai's local trains (Central, Western and Harbour Line)! Need not describe their stuff anymore as my wife was disgusted and it spoiled her day!

What is "India Times shopping" doing to check the quality control of the various products they sell from their suppliers who are using Times (in the benevolent name of Times Of India) as their platform to cheat an un-suspecting public all over India and rob them in broad daylight of their hard earned money. WHAT A SHAME!

The terms and conditions (fine print) as usual says - NO REFUND!

All we can now say to ourselves is SABENA (Such A Bad Experience Never Again)!

All future customers of India Times Shopping and Surat Diamond Jewellery - I would like caution you to keep away from both these fraudsters taking credit for each other by advertising in Times of India publications.
