Cheating with their exchange policies

On Sep 26 I had purchased a jeans and a top for my wife as her birthday gift hoping to make it surprise but thanks to Pantaloon it proved to be a disaster. The jeans was loose for her since we were travelling and I wanted to take her along this time we made it on Oct 19 back again to get the same exchanged as we were glad to know that the company had an exchange period of 30 days. On purchase I had applied for a green card too which is yet to be received till date. When we went to exchange it to our surprise it was refused for being exchanged saying that it has been worn once. Actully it was just tried and no where was it mentioned that exchange policy that it has to be in a saleable condition. After spending 5000 Rs.. now we are left with a dress that cannot be worn. Nice way for future bazzar to earn money. Can we have some hope of getting a solution or is it money gone down the drain.
