Technical issue with wi-fi receive

There seems to be some issue with the wi-fi receiver on my BlackBerry playbook.

First of all it, doesn't catch all the wi-fi signals that my other devices show.

Secondly, even if i sit next to the router, it doesn't show full strength

Thirdly, if i move 5 meters away from the router, the wi-fi signal goes off completely.

I have tested this using multiple routers of various brands, this issue persists everytime. Request you to please assist me.
