COMPAQ/COMPAQ 610 LAPTOP
SYSTEM NOT GETTING OPENED

Sir,

I have bought a compaq 610 (laptop) in Dec from delhi. Since last few days there was some problem while opening the system as it was not getting opened. I gave the system to an authorised dealker of compaq in Lucknow. But they told me that there was some password protected while opening BIOS setup. I bought the installed system with Windows Vista home basic. So there is no question of putting password from my side but there are repeatedly telling me that I have put the password and now mother board will get changed and I have to bear that cost though I have got a Warranty of ONE year and still it is in warranty period. Please look into the matter at the earliest.
