Compaq/CQ40-616TU NOTE BOOK
BATTERY NOT CHARGING FULLY & ALSO DEPLETING VERY FAST BELOW 10%

I purchased one compaq note book CQ40-616TU (serial number-CND9362CDG) on 10 Jan from M/s In house Production, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. There was some problem with battery which was brought to notice but I was advised to fully charge & then deplete fully for at least 6 times so that battery could come in full functional mode. I tried but battery never got fully charged. Despite charging over 12 hrs it did not cross 95%.

Today (12 Feb) I carried the machine to the same dealer, who after 3 hrs of testing told me that probably battery is faulty & I will have to go to workshop (Probably DAYAL) somewhere near Hindustan Times office. No reference of testing or any paper has been provided to me. I dont know what the next station will tell me?

This is my second mistake. I purchased oen compaq notbook 1.5 years back & after 6 months battery capacity came down to 40-50 minutes & ultimately I had to dispose the ntoebook to throw away price.

I DO NOT KNOW, WHAT TO DO?
