Defective LED - no warranty cove

I have bought a Compaq laptopn about 4 months back

few weeks back the screen went cracked over night

according to company now, this is not covered under warranty & now they are asking three fourth of the original cost of laptop for screen change. They are saying that tis is consumer mishandling

This is a full cheat as the screen went cracked of its own
