BAD BATTERY

I Purchased dell laptop inspiron 1414 on 22nd september itself. after 1 week the battery started finishing within 1 to 1 and half hour. many a times the colour starts fading all of a sudden.the outer cover started showing scraches inspite of using it delicately.

kindly help me out, ... with any vital information on email id or service centre at patna.
