Repair at the Digicare Service Centre in Kolkata

This is regarding a Intel Board which I had submitted for repair at the Digicare Service Centre in Kolkata on 30th July. The Board was bought on 4 June which made it eligible for warranty. However the guys at the center noticed that there is a IC burn on the circuit, and it was made warranty void. I guess that's the rule so i had to agree to that to pay against the service.

Now, its almost 30 days since i had submitted the board and its still not available. I had called the center and the reply i got that it was still not done, more than that, they haven't at all started to work on it (the website although says work in progress). The excuse that i got was that there apparatus to fix the problem is not available. They said that the apparatus was faulty and they ordered another one, which again got faulty. This makes the things hard to believe. But if this is true, its really a matter of disappointment that such a large network of service centers do not have the right apparatus for servicing. They even did not bother to contact me that they are facing issues, neither on the phone nor on mail. They even haven't conveyed me the quotation for the charges. This is not all, there is more, they told me that to wait for some 7 days and IF THEY DO NOT GET THE APPARATUS I MIGHT HAVE TO TAKE THE BOARD BACK. I guess this is an issue for concern. If they do not have the resources to provide, leave even the quality, a mere service to the consumers, I guess there is no reason to carry on with it.

This is a real matter of disappointment for me. It would be great help if all India Digicare team (There email id on the site is fake) can be contacted to look into the matters of the Kolkata service center.
