# HCL is running a SCAM with the warranty operations

I purchased the HCL notebook B38 C2D on 28th Jan. After 3 months my DVD driver stopped working and went to the JANAKPURI SERVICE CENTER requesting for a replacement since it was under the warranty period however they checked it they told me that they do not have the part available and they would make the customer care call me to intimate me about it's availability, a month passed and i received a SMS from the customer care thanking me for using their services and that they had resolved my issue where as they had not resolved anything at all (I still have the bill of the DVD writer which they never replaced ..It is a valid proff that they never resolved the issue). So i called the customer care on their no: 18601800425 and complained that JANAKPURI SERVICE CENTER was giving them wrong information however the customer care also kept delaying stating that they would inform me after inquiring into it. I hardly get time to go to Janakpuri since i have a hectic work schedule and hence a couple of more months passed by and i again called the customer care and they then informed me that JANAKPURI CENTER had the part available then and they would replace however when i went there again after taking out time, they stated they do not have the product. I was so fed up of the matter that i decided i would deal with GREEN PARK CENTER from next time. Time passed by and i realized that my warranty is getting over and so i again went to the JANAKPURI SERVICE CENTER since it is near to my place so that i can atleast get it renewed and later deal with GREEN PARK CENTER however the guy at JANAKPURI CENTER again made an excuse that they do not have one year warranty and i should wait, he stated i should buy the 2 year warranty instead. Today i went to them again taking out time and he tells me they can't do anything since my warranty got over yesterday. I kept calling HCL customer care since the past week to complain against JANAKPURI CENTER that they are delaying the renewal of the warranty since they want me to buy the 2 yr warranty instead of 1 yr but HCLs toll free number would either not get connected and when it did the IVR would not work. It's either HCL who is running the scam orelse the service center people who delay the warranty renewal so that customer's are forced to buy the more expensive product. Even today the service center person could have helped me but he was more busy in trying to sell me his AMC plan for Rs 3100 for a year since it would have fetched them more money.

My question is - Is there a way to Sue HCL for the hassles they give to their customer's or If they are not aware and only the service center people are running the scam then would they take action in taking away the Licences of such people who are giving HCL a bad name? In the end it is me who suffered from the harassment of making so many requests and not getting anything out of my warranty period. Companies issue warranty but if they do not give the benifits to their customers by making excuses then What is to be done??? Can i file a claim against HCL regarding the same?? Kindly suggest...
