HP Compaq Presario CQ42-176TU notebook PC
Replacement of defective piece / extension of guarantee / warrantee period

We have purchased Compaq Presario CQ42-176TU Notebbok PC from Vijay Sales Borivali west branch on 23rd May. Laptop serial no. is CHFO131YGC. Laptop has started giving trouble from November and from Dec.10 to March 11, Laptop was given three times for repairing. Most of these four months the Laptop was with service station. Apart from these three times, we have further taken the laptop two additional times for solving the problem. Hence we requested the company 1) Replace the defective piece 2) Extend the guarantee / warranty period 3) Give us the damage charges as apart from spending money and time for visiting several times to service centre, my daughter who was using this laptop for her MBA study, also suffer in the MBA programme and examination. The company has not responsed / agreed any of these points except keeping the laptop to the service centre several months for repairing and they have at last given us repaired piece. We do not know, how long this will work.
