Inordinate delay in repair of New Laptop

Dear Sir,
I have purchased Compaq 610 laptop no CNU9382WWM from M/s Cost to Cost Computers, Nehru place, New Delhi (India) on October 29. The dealer handed over me the packed laptop and didn’t checked before me. The Laptop started malfunctioning in display on second day of buying itself. I telephoned the dealer, he called me at his shop, that is 15 km away from my place. There he asked me to go to HP Service centre that is again far away place from the shop. I had produced my laptop to HP service centre on November 14. They told me that I will get the repaired laptop after 2-3 days. About 20 days are already over, so far I didn’t get my laptop back. Every time on enquiring I get the reply that, “the part for replacement is awaited whenever it will be received you will get the laptop". As a fare practice they must have replace the Laptop being the manufacturing defect.
