Under warranty wants money to repai

Sir,

I have a Laptop of HP company. Which was in under warranty and my screen of laptop is not working properly when I ask them to repair it so they asking a amount of money so how i can buy a new part of that faulty laptop but I request them please dont repair my laptop when I gave you the whole amount of money which is equal to the cost of new . then they saying we are not repairing we are replacing that one. when i ask the old part of my laptop then they are saying we cant gave you back...

"My question is "&--When I gave him a whole amount of money why they are not giving back my older faulty part of my laptop."
