No battery Bachup & screan problem

Dear Sir,

Contained herein is the HCL laptop P29 PDC (Sr. No : 3084AX360645), purchased on Oct.. which is still under warranty.

The problem that I am experiencing is as follows:

1) Battery BackUP is NOTHING, Lite is off, so system is shut down direct.so system is giving no beckup.

2) my laptop lcd is demiz so plz give me a suggation...
