Old Laptop at the cost of New One

Dear Sir,

I bought a Brand New Hp Compaq laptop CQ40-616 from Foretech Computer System Pvt Ltd B-81/1, Nehru Place Opp. Jagat Cinema Begum Bridge Meerut 250001 Uttar Pradesh Tel: 0121 2652940 2657635 9311997700 Fax: 0121 2652940 2657635 @ Rs 35000 although I was getting same model @Rs 34000 from other retailer in market. Observing that below source is authorized reseller of Hp, I decided to invest Rs 1000 extra at cost of authorized Hp reseller.

Their representative told me to made payment. I paid them Rs 20000 in hard cash & swapped my credit card for Rs15000. They charged Rs 300 extra as bank swapping charges. After payment they issued me a delivery challan which I had to submit at dispatch counter.

Against this slip they issued me a laptop whose seal was torn off. I complaint representative against this but he convinced me that this may be torned of during material handling otherwise laptop is OK.

But when I switched on laptop I found that this laptop is not new & it contains few software that have been pre-loaded on it. In fact it should not contain such software as it was free DOS based.

However when I quarreled with above party they refunded me Rs 35000 after deducting Rs 300 as transaction charges.

But this was quite disgusting transaction that such an authorized reseller is bluffing public in open & day light.
