I bought 2 Acer 4741z laptops from Bangalore Acer mall showroom (August), I use them for work mostly simple presentations & Excel reports. Nothing crazy, fancy work. While one of them is still working okey, 2nd one is just NOT been working fine at all. From the 1st day, there were issues with hardware (battery lock broke first), then the keypad stopped working. Got it replaced (Warranty) in their Mangalore service center. A month later the problem started again (January 11), this time gave it to their Manipal service center & a week later response I get is - "we havent recvd the keypad yet"!!! They dont even have a spare laptop to provide, I just couldnt work for a week. PLEASE DONT BUY ACER LAPTOPS OR PRODUCTS, they are waste. Even if you buy, find a different service provider, DONT go to Acer authorized agents.
