Faulty UPS

I purchased the above-stated UPS which is said to give a backup of up to 20 minutes but was disappointed to find that in the event of a power failure, the UPS will not even give a backup of 1 minute. I have used UPS's from Numeric since the last 5 years but am sad to report that I have been sold a faulty UPS only to be exchanged for another faulty one, that too within a span of just 8 days.
