Dear Sir,
This is with regard to electricity theft and high electricity bills by CESC ltd and inability to register a complaint online (once u type ur complaint, the submit button doesnt work) and even at phone no-one picks up or when they pick up a consumer call, they disconnect it
I am a working professional and reside at Flat no.11/05, tower 4 ruchira residensy, 369, purbachal, Kalitala Main road, Kolkata and my consumer number is 75258084006.
I suddenly started receiving very high power bills even though i am not there the whole day and in October I got an electricity bill of Rs. 2860 and the surprising fact was that i was out of station for 20 days while the month prior to that also i had a very high bill of Rs. 3500 approximately which are ridiculous for a single person who is not there the whole day.
I wanted to register this complaint but on the phone, noone picks and when they pick, they disconnect. They have made a online section but very smartly once you press the button for "submit" it also doesn't work. Cleraly they avoid any complaint handling but are quick to serve disconnection notices. I was forced to pay Rs. 4410 as they threatened to disconnect the electricity and being a single working professional, i don't have the time to go and fight battles with them at their office premises and rest all options like phone and online are just for show.
I need someone to address this issue as I am not getting even a way to lodge a complaint with this company.
