Earnest Money of Rs 500/- for AC supply submitted on 23-Feb-11 (Form number: 65686111099) for supply of electricity. Inspection carried out on 3rd March. However, we did not get report for long. After repeated follow-ups, finally we received a letter [ref. no. 04/01502/11 (512)], from District Engineer (Calcutta North District) stating that there are some outstanding dues in respect of consumption of electricity at house lying recoverable. This is absolutely NOT true. The matter has been referred to Commercial Dept for further investigation & we are still awaitng any further developement updates. It has been more than a month & we have not heard back (also there is not outstanding dues). Pls help!
