Hike in house rent

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a resident of royapettah since 24 years, from the recent past of 2 years ther is a tremondous rise in house rent in our neighbouring streets such as muthu street, ayya street, etc. and the house owners are not giving any bill for the rent collection. The electricity bill for the house also is very high such as Rs 6/unit. My house is a 300 sq.feet, for that i am paying Rs 4000/month and the electricity bill for 50 units is Rs 300. I dont think the counslor of our area has not taken any action to stop this. I am a greaterful cader of D.M.K, if this situation continuous there is no chance of coming back in ruling. If action has not been taken, I have no other choice rather than going to Deputy C.M.
