Billing anomaly

Hi all disgruntled Home Town customers,

I am a frequent visitor to Home town, kolkata. I was contemplating buying some furniture from Home Town, but after reading the posts have decided otherwise.

I may add that I too have had some unsavoury experience at Home Town recently. My wife had bought a kitchen accessory. While checking out we were billed an amount which turned out to be greater than the amount printed on the tag attached to the purchased item. What was inexplicable was the fact that the serial number (printed with the bar code) in the tag matched entirely with the number printed in the bill! The hapless salesman at the check out counter was of little help and we had no option but to leave in a huff!!

Having said that, I may add that we do visit Home Town once a month and do enjoy the experience of shopping for our little needs. It just needs to be more professional, not only in its outlook (which it already is) but also inside.
