Not sending Maid Cook

Dear Sir,

I wish to bring to the notice on how I was duped by an agent in Chennai who runs an agency called “Chennai Job Service” (Phone: 65267886, 64508454, 9841344145) located in MGR Nagar, Chennai. The agency collected Rs 5, 000/= as commission for supplying a maid cook to my house. They agreed that, the cook will be arranged for 6 months period. The monthly salary was fixed as Rs 4500/= per month. The cook worked exactly for one month and then on wards never turned up. My repeated calls and personal visits to the agency office were of no help as my requests fell into deaf ears. I understand that, this type of agencies are running a kind of racket, where they collect money as commission from innocent customers, send cook for few days and then just stop them. They make hefty money in cooperation with few cooks.

I am sure, I am not the first to get duped and they are many more who run from pillar to post after paying the commission.

By writing to you, I wish the readers to be aware of such fraudulent agencies and careful in scrutinizing them before paying any commissions. I wish to lodge an official complaint with Police and hope stern action will be taken.
